Class 2, assignment 3: monocular depth cues

Both size difference and occlusion are shown here
The coin right in front of me is much larger than the other two coins, hilighted yellow
Occlusion is shown here. Im in front of the coin which is in front of the wall. My being infront of something which  is itself in front of something creates an illusion of depth

Lighting/Shading and Texture Density
This screen shot illustrates two examples at once.
The lighting and shading illustrated in red. The front of the beige structure is much brighter than the back, which begins to darken about dead center.
The texture density is by the hardwood floor, hilighted in yellow. The floor beneath me is very grainy, the  wood detailed. Farther away in the room the grain fades, and only the dark brown color remains.

Linear and Atmospheric perspective
This image illustrates linear perspective and the so called vanishing point in the stone walk in front of me. The lines are clear until the red arrow.
After the red arrow the line begins to fade.
Atmospheric perspective is shown with the green pipes. The one behind me is very clear. The one in the distance is not even a pipe just a green box.

Texture density
The stone beneath me is clearly delineated into lines, however closer to the water, the lines are not as distinct.

These two images illustrate atmospheric perspective.
In the left image there is no box in the water. One click on my directial forwards and the box appears. There is also another box in the cluster. Two steps backwards and the boxes all blur completely.

Another example of texture density as well as size differences and occlusion. The bricks beneath me are very clearly delineated, however farther away in the courtyard, the bricks are not clear, only the color  of them. The light posts far away are not as big as the one in front of me. The light posts being in front of the buildings is an example of occlusion.
