I was attacked by a Prairie Wolf and died. Here I am in the Afterlife!
I have enjoyed working in Java so far with Greenfoot. I am having difficulty with JME, however. Though we have only begun to program in it, all of the demos that I have tried using JME have either crashed or been altogether not very impressive. For example, the Grappling Hook JME2 that I tried was fairly quick and there is little or no clipping, it doesn't seem to run as nice as the Java we've seen on Greentfoot, in my experience.
World of Warcraft is where I was expecting to run into problems with crashing however, it ran very smoothly and didn't crash once. I was impressed with not only how fast it was, and clear, I was impressed with how much I enjoyed the environments in World of Warcraft. After reading about comparisons between C++ and Java based languages, it seems Java based languages have taken out some of the more tedious aspects of syntax, however this is problematic when trying to create a platform that requires more information and is static.
